The Functional Movement Screen is a crucial component of FireFlex Yoga’s Methodology because it allows the instructor to customize yoga classes to fit individual firefighter departments and then assess the difference the program is making for those firefighters. The quantitative data is also used to demonstrate a return on their investment.
By using the FMS as a baseline, FireFlex Yoga instructors can target the appropriate postures that will increase flexibility, mobility and stability and help firefighters to perform their job safely.
